Our story
The Resova Story
Some people come to mental health care looking for an answer.
Others come looking for themselves.
Resova was created for both.
Because behind every diagnosis is a life someone is trying to reclaim. A parent trying to be present again. A person trying to return to work, reconnect with someone they love, or make it through the day without feeling consumed by it. Someone who has followed the recommendations, tried the treatments, and begun to wonder whether feeling better is still possible.

Founder, Resova Health
A diagnosis may give suffering a name. It should never become the definition of the person living through it.
That belief gave rise to The Care Clinic.
It is what carries us forward as Resova Health.
01 / How we see care
One Life. More Than One Diagnosis.
Medicine is organized into specialties. People are not.
Depression does not always exist separately from chronic pain. Addiction does not remain neatly divided from anxiety, trauma, or grief. ADHD can affect relationships, careers, confidence, and nearly every part of daily life. The conditions we treat have separate names, but patients experience their effects all at once.
Dr. Siddharth Arora’s work in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and pain medicine allowed him to see the same patient through three different clinical lenses. Those disciplines did not give him three unrelated specialties. They gave him a deeper understanding of how closely the mind, body, behavior, and circumstances of a person’s life can be connected.
They also showed him what could be lost between the boundaries of care.
At the time, Dr. Arora was treating patients with addiction. Many were also living with depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, or other conditions directly affecting their ability to recover. Yet the practice model in which he worked permitted him to treat only the addiction and leave the rest of the person to someone else.
Treat one diagnosis. Refer out the rest. The patient was left to carry the pieces.
02 / Where it began
So He Built What Was Missing.
Patients should not have to divide themselves into pieces to receive care. They should not have to move between disconnected providers, repeatedly retelling their stories while no one sees how the different parts fit together.
When the system would not allow him to provide the care his patients needed, Dr. Arora made the decision to build a practice that would.
That decision became The Care Clinic. Today, it is Resova Health.
What began as a different approach to addiction treatment soon grew into a comprehensive psychiatric practice. Patients came with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, chronic pain, substance use concerns, and histories that did not fit neatly into one clinical category.
They came with different diagnoses, but many shared the same experience: they had received care before without ever feeling fully understood.
Our patients brought the mission of The Care Clinic to life. They trusted us with more of their stories. They referred others who needed the same kind of care. Over time, the practice expanded across state lines, not simply because we set out to become larger, but because the problem we were created to address existed everywhere.
03 / Looking for another path
A Treatment Can Fail. A Patient Is Not a Failure.
In 2019, the practice reached another turning point.
Dr. Arora was seeing patients who had taken the medications, attended therapy, followed treatment plans, adjusted dosages, waited, and tried again.
They had done their part.
Still, they were suffering.
Some had been described as “treatment resistant.” Too often, those words left people feeling that they were the problem. Their illness was too difficult. Their hope was unreasonable. Their chance to feel better was already behind them.
But a treatment can fail.
A patient is not a failure.
Dr. Arora refused to accept that the end of a familiar treatment pathway had to mean the end of hope. The practice introduced ketamine therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation and opened Care Clinic Infusions in Fairfax, Virginia. Today, it is known as Resova Infusions and TMS.
It was created for people who needed another path—particularly those for whom “nothing has worked” was beginning to feel like “nothing ever will.”
It became a place where patients who felt exhausted, discouraged, or forgotten could find a clinical team still prepared to look forward with them.
04 / What comes next
The Care That Comes Next.
Today, Resova Health provides comprehensive psychiatric care through telehealth and in-person visits, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment for depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, and other complex mental health concerns.
Through Resova Infusions and TMS, eligible patients can also access specialized interventions in Fairfax, Virginia, including TMS and ketamine therapy when conventional medications have not provided sufficient relief.
Not every patient needs every service. Not every treatment is right for every person. But every patient deserves care from a practice capable of looking beyond one diagnosis, one medication, or one predetermined path.
Resova is not simply what The Care Clinic has become. It represents what we believe mental health care must become: more connected, more accessible, more willing to evolve, and more responsive to the complexity of the people it serves.
Care should be clinically sophisticated without becoming impersonal. It should use technology to bring people closer to help, not make them feel further away from the person providing it. It should embrace innovation without abandoning evidence. And when one path is not working, care should remain curious enough, capable enough, and determined enough to look for another.
That is the future Resova is building.
05 / The name
Reset. Resolve. Nova.
The name Resova reflects what patients come searching for: an answer, a new beginning, and a way forward.
Reset represents the possibility of beginning again—not erasing what came before, but creating a new starting point.
Resolve is both an answer and an act of determination: finding a way through a problem and making the courageous decision to keep moving forward.
Nova represents something new—the sudden, renewed brightness of a star.
Together, they became Resova.
A name for the moment when you cannot yet see the entire way forward, but you decide that where you are cannot be where your story ends.
A name for returning to the person you remember…or discovering the person you have not yet had the opportunity to become.
06 / The promise
Better Is More Than a Score.
Mental health care is not ultimately about a diagnosis, a prescription, or a score on an assessment.
It is about what feeling better makes possible.
Being present with your children instead of fighting simply to get through the day. Returning to work. Answering the phone. Making plans. Laughing without forcing it. Sleeping without dreading the morning. Reconnecting with the people you love. Recognizing yourself again.
It is not only about getting better.
It is about being found.
No responsible practice can promise that every treatment will work for every patient. What Resova can offer is thoughtful, innovative, evidence-based care that begins by listening, considers the connections between your symptoms and experiences, and remains willing to reconsider the path when that path is not taking you where you need to go.
If you have received several diagnoses but still do not feel understood, your story deserves to be heard as a whole.
If you have tried treatment before and are questioning whether it is worth trying again, you do not need to arrive with all the answers.
You only need a place willing to help you look for them.
To the patients who have been part of our story: your trust, courage, and willingness to keep trying made Resova possible.
To those just beginning theirs: there may be more ahead for you than you can see from where you are standing today.
You are not defined by the treatments that have failed to help you.
You are not the worst thing that has happened to you.
You are not beyond the possibility of change.
Sometimes healing means returning to who you were. Sometimes it means becoming someone new.
Often, it is both.
The name is new. The purpose is not.
A reset. The resolve to continue. A new light.
Resova. Find your way forward.
