A letter from our founder

The Care Clinic is becoming Resova Health

A Personal Letter from Dr. Arora

Dr. Siddharth Arora, founder of Resova Health

To the patients who have been part of our story — and those just beginning theirs:

Medicine is organized into specialties. People are not.

Depression does not always exist separately from chronic pain. Addiction does not remain neatly divided from anxiety, trauma, or grief. ADHD can affect relationships, careers, self-worth, and nearly every part of daily life. The conditions we treat have names and diagnostic criteria, but the people living with them rarely fit inside a single clinical box.

My work in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and pain medicine has allowed me to see the same patient through three different clinical lenses. Those disciplines did not give me three unrelated specialties. They gave me a deeper understanding of how closely the mind, body, behavior, and circumstances of a person’s life can be connected.

They also showed me how frequently patients are failed by the boundaries between them.

I did not start The Care Clinic because healthcare needed another mental-health practice. I started it because the patients I was treating did not fit within the limitations of the practices that already existed.

At the time, I was caring for people with addiction. Many were also living with depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, or other conditions directly affecting their ability to recover. Yet the model in which I worked permitted me to treat only one part of what they were experiencing.

I was expected to treat the addiction and leave the rest of the person to someone else.

I could not accept that. This was no quality of life for a patient.

Patients should not have to divide themselves into pieces to receive care. They should not have to move from one disconnected provider to another, repeatedly retelling their story while no one is permitted — or prepared — to see how its different parts fit together.

When the system in which I worked would not allow me to provide the care my patients needed, I made the decision to build a practice that would.

That decision became The Care Clinic. Our patients brought that mission to life.

What began as a different approach to addiction treatment soon grew into a comprehensive psychiatric practice. The reason was simple: the need extended far beyond one diagnosis. Patients came to us with different conditions and different histories, but many had experienced the same fragmented system. They wanted care that could follow the complexity of their lives instead of forcing their lives to fit the limitations of a specialty.

Our patients trusted us with more of their stories. They referred others who needed the same kind of care. Over time, the practice expanded across state lines — not because we set out to become larger, but because the problem we were created to address existed everywhere.

Then, in 2019, we reached another turning point.

I was seeing patients who had taken the medications, attended therapy, followed treatment plans, adjusted dosages, waited, and tried again. They had done what had been asked of them, yet they were still suffering.

Some had been described as “treatment resistant.” Too often, those words left patients feeling that they were the problem, or that there was nothing left for medicine to offer them.

But a treatment can fail. A patient is not a failure.

We introduced ketamine therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and created Care Clinic Infusions — now Resova Infusions — to provide another path for people who had been told, or had started telling themselves, that there was nowhere left to turn.

That same determination continues to guide us today.

Resova is not simply a new name. It is the promise we have been working to fulfill since the first day our doors opened. We chose the name Resova because it reflects both where we came from and what we want every patient to know is still possible.

The name

  • Reset represents the possibility of beginning again.
  • Resolve means both finding an answer and having the determination to keep moving forward.
  • Nova represents something new — a star that suddenly shines with renewed brightness.

Together, these ideas became Resova.

Resova is a clinical philosophy before it is a name. It means that we begin with the person rather than the category. We look for connections rather than treating each symptom as though it exists alone. And we remain willing to reconsider the path when the path is not leading where a patient needs to go.

Our ability to provide psychiatric treatment, addiction care, medication management, and advanced options such as TMS and ketamine does not mean that every patient needs every service. It means that patients can be evaluated by a practice capable of seeing beyond one treatment, one diagnosis, or one predetermined lane.

To our current patients: the name is changing, but the conviction behind your care is not. Thank you for trusting us with the parts of your lives that are often the hardest to explain. Your experiences shaped this practice and challenged us to keep learning, expanding, and finding better ways to help. Resova exists because of the people who allowed us to become part of their stories.

To those considering Resova for the first time: perhaps you have received several diagnoses but still do not feel understood. Perhaps you have been moved from provider to provider without anyone connecting the pieces. Perhaps you have tried treatment before and are questioning whether it is worth trying again. I know how difficult it can be to ask for help, particularly when you have asked before and have been disappointed. I cannot promise that every treatment will work for every person. No responsible physician can. What I can promise is that we will see more than a diagnosis. We will listen to your history, consider the relationships among your symptoms and experiences, and remain committed to helping you identify a thoughtful, innovative, evidence-based path forward.

Sometimes that path helps you return to the person you remember being.

Sometimes it leads you toward someone you have not yet had the opportunity to become.

Often, it does both.

  • You are not defined by the treatments that have failed to help you.
  • You are not the worst thing that has happened to you.
  • You are not beyond the possibility of change.

Resova Health represents the next chapter of the practice we began years ago, but our purpose remains the same: to provide exceptional care without losing sight of the human being at its center. It is the evolution of that commitment — and our determination to keep building what patients need next.

The name is new. The purpose is not.

Welcome to Resova.

A reset. The resolve to continue. A new light.

There may be more ahead for you than you can see from where you are standing today.

Let us help you find your way forward.
